Ready to try some amazing Spanish restaurants in London?

If you just started learning Spanish, and you want to totally embrace the Spanish culture, you might want to discover some Spanish restaurants in London! So, what we’ll try to do here is a small list of Spanish restaurants or pubs where you can enjoy great food.

Of course we haven’t been to all the Spanish restaurants in the city, so if you know a good one, you want to give us advise or recommendations, or suggest your school friends a different one, don’t forget to comment!

Hispania is a situated in the financial district (72-74 Lombard Street, EC3V 9AY): they serve typical Spanish breakfast and lunch, and they close at night and during the weekends. They are specialised in quick served tapas and paella, to maintain the English rhythm!

In Borough you can find José (104 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3UB). It is a quite cheap tapas bar where you should try the traditional jamón Serrano (the famous Spanish row ham), tomato bread, and the fantastic croquetas, fried croquettes with different ingredients!

Another famous Spanish restaurant is El Pirata, in Mayfair (5-6 Down Street, W1J 7AQ). It has a very good quality-price balance, and it is a good start to approach the Spanish food. If you can’t decide between the several dishes offered, they have two set menu, where they offer you a good choice of the typical tastes.

El Metro Restaurant is another well-known and good reviewed typical restaurant, situated in Fulham (10-12 Effie Road, SW6 1TB). It has a great Spanish menu, and along the choices you can try some tapas at your taste, fried squids, roasted peppers and lamb chops in a Spanish style.

Pix Pintxos (in Soho and Carnaby) is a typical Spanish restaurant in Central London. Pintxos or Pinchos are similar to tapas, the main difference is that the pintxos are pinned with toothpicks and are often served on top of a piece of bread. If you want to have a different dinner, why don’t you try this nice bar?
