Is Formentera your next destination?

Formentera is definitely a great choice for your summer holidays.

Even though you might think that this little island is similar to Ibiza, well…there couldn’t be anything more different!

Formentera is the smallest of the Baleari islands and offers amazing beaches and untouched nature to enjoy.

What type of holiday should you expect?

Whilst Ibiza is famous for its nightlife, yacht parties and crazy fun, Formentera is perfect for some relax!

You can swim in the crystal clear water of Formentera, chill on the beach, taste some lovely food in the nice restaurants around the island.

If you are not taking in by mega-hotels and bright lights, this is the place for you!

So what are the best things to do in Formentera?

If you want to chill on the beach, Playa Illetes, Cala Saona, Platja Llevant and many more amazing ones are just waiting for you.

If you like water sports, you will have a number of choices: windsurfing, diving, snorkelling but also trying a seabob or a kayak are among the most popular activities in the island.

If you want to immerse yourself in the fantastic nature, you can discover it by bike or, if you prefer, by foot.

There is a good greenway guide which tells you everything you need to know before starting your adventure!

You can also visit two suggestive lighthouses: Far de Sa Mola, a clifftop lighthouse built in 1861 and Cap de Barbaria, reachable only by foot and surrounded by a rocky lunar landscape.

Another must see are Ses Salinas: salt pans not used since 30 years ago, now a stunning protected reserve to visit.

You will love the natural pools and might spot some flamingos!

You won’t ask for more, Formentera is perfect!
