The May Bank Holiday on the 25th will be affected by the lockdown rules due to the Coronavirus emergency.

Even though you might think that you won’t be able to do much, actually there are quite a lot of lovely things to do!

In respect of all the restrictions imposed by the Government, we can still enjoy our day off and fill it up with many different activities.

Here you have some nice ideas to spend an amazing day!

In this period of lockdown it is important to do some outdoor activities and exercise.

If you live close to the Royal Parks, it would be good to go for a walk or cycle where possible.

Social distancing applies to all the parks, whilst each park might have slightly different closing times and general rules, so we recommend to check the website.

If you live in East London, Victoria Park is also a great chance to spend some time outside, cycling or having a picnic.

Would you enjoy a good theatre show?

You can watch some from the comfort of your home!

The Shakespeare’s Globe offers a wide choice of performances: browse through and choose the one that you like the most to watch with your family or flatmates!

The National Theatre also offers fantastic plays to enjoy on your sofa: that’s a great way to spend a day off!
